This project involved designing a 30-minute instructor-led training workshop for Scotiabank people managers on applying empathy, active listening, and unconscious bias awareness in coaching conversations.
Deliverables included a branded presentation deck and a facilitator lesson plan. The design was grounded in Knowles' principles of andragogy, prioritizing experience-based practice and self-reflection over passive instruction.
Rather than relying on lecture alone, the session incorporated structured pair activities and discussion prompts to give participants hands-on practice, while keeping slide content minimal and visuals intentionally diverse to reflect a real workplace environment.
